Did you use pressure treated wood? . helped my dad rebuild a hay rack once and he bought some sawmill oak from some Omish (or Mennonite?) guy. Talk about bent nails..
Oh Hell No.
Would have cost an arm and a leg. Just used treated lumber. Maybe would have used oak if I was going to actually use it or rebuild it to original condition, but it is just a lawn decoration right now.
Still is pretty sturdy.
